Hey!
I'm Ryan Ding, a tech lead, system designer, and curious builder.
I spend most of my time solving engineering problems around architecture, scalability, reliability, and practical AI adoption. My background started with big data and distributed systems, and today much of my attention is on LLMs, AI agents, and how they can be used in real products and workflows.
I'm not interested in AI as a buzzword. I'm interested in where it actually helps: reducing friction, improving workflows, supporting decisions, and making complex systems easier to use.
My approach is simple: understand the bottleneck first, then choose the right tool. New technology is useful only when it solves a real problem.
I also built a small personal AI agent called Ask Ryan. It can answer questions about my experience, education, patents, projects, and technical interests. Feel free to try it on the right if you want a more interactive way to learn about me.
